Welcome to the 2026 State Summer Games Volunteer Team!

Get ready to be part of something extraordinary. The State Summer Games at UNH, June 12–13, are more than our largest competition of the year—they’re a vibrant celebration of courage, joy, and the limitless talent of Special Olympics New Hampshire athletes.

With seven dynamic sports—track & field, bocce, swimming, equestrian, sprint triathlon, powerlifting, and softball—plus Healthy Athletes screenings, Opening Ceremonies, Olympic Town, and more, the Summer Games is a full-campus experience like no other. And it takes a village to bring it all to life.

That’s where you come in.

From setting the stage in the days leading up to the Games, to supporting competitions throughout the weekend, to helping with breakdown and unpacking after—it all matters. Every role, every shift, every moment of support helps create an unforgettable experience for our athletes.

As a volunteer, you’ll witness incredible moments of perseverance, sportsmanship, and pure joy. You’ll high-five champions, connect with an amazing community, and walk away knowing you were part of something bigger.
